Residential Rehab Clinic Yorkshire and Lincolnshire
Introduction
These clinics form a group of new treatment centres across the UK exclusively aimed at treating alcohol dependence which cut the cost of residential recovery by more than half.
We have successfully treated hundreds of alcoholic patients since the opening of our first centre in April 2005.
What makes us special?
Our treatment is amongst the best in the country. As well as being fully qualified, our therapists and counsellors are some of the most highly trained in the UK. Many are either in recovery themselves or have firsthand experience of alcoholism through family members.
We are unique in offering centres that deal exclusively with alcoholism unlike other rehab centres which also treat drug, eating and other addiction disorders within the same patient mix.
We think that alcoholics find that they have a better chance of recovery if they work in a group of people with the same illness.

Program Overview
Therapy is based on the 12 Step Programme, cognitive behavioural therapy, art therapy, person- centred counselling, neuro-linguistic programming and eye movement desensitisation and re-programming.
The 12 steps are guide-lines on how to live life differently so that the need to drink is dissipated. It involves a dispensing with guilt whilst retaining a certain knowledge that if drinking re-occurs, so will the destructive behaviour and negative consequences.
It brings an acceptance that the individual is not all powerful and has no control over anyone other than their own behaviour.
It helps in getting rid of past resentments and learning how to deal with difficulties immediately in a proactive rather than reactive manner.
It involves a process of always monitoring and checking one’s behaviour rather than blaming others, ultimately helping those who are in the same difficulties. All of these things raise self esteem and confidence and so keep a person on the path of recovery. However, there are no magic solutions and it takes a lifetime of commitment to maintain.

Facilities and Accommodation
Detox Centre
Our detox centre centre is where most patients begin the treatment process.
It is located in South Yorkshire and has a total of 21 beds making it the
biggest, private detox unit in the UK.
It can also offer four-week rehabilitation programme's for people looking for a more structured approach to recovery than our rehab centres. This tends to suit younger patients or people who feel more comfortable with a more formal regime.
First rehab centre
Our first rehab centre is an elegant Victorian manor house set in four acres of gardens in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside. It has been refurbished to provide a welcoming and comfortable retreat. The decoration is boutique-hotel style and patients are expected to share one of the eight rooms.
Initially, people find the idea of sharing off-putting but it is very much part of the treatment, encouraging patients to offer support and encouragement to each other 24/7. No-one understands an alcoholic like another alcoholic. It also reminds them to start considering other people - being selfish is a major trait of alcoholism. There is a cozy TV and sitting room where patients gather at night to continue with their programme, watch films, organise games and talk.
Second rehab centre
Our second rehab centre is set within the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. It is a 17- room centre offering 15 single rooms and two shared rooms which are all en-suite. Many have their own balcony allowing personal space - ideal for people who find meditation and peace important to their recovery.
