Located in a secluded part of North London this private hospital specialises in the treatment of mental health problems and both adult and adolescent addictions.
Since opening in 1986 The Clinic has acquired an excellent reputation for its standards in medical and nursing care and the extensive range of services we offer. The private hospital has 52 bedrooms offering treatment for general psychiatry, addictions and adolescents, as well as facilities for day care and outpatient services. We offer a specialist service for adolescent addictions and adult and adolescent Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD).
What makes this residential clinic special?
Adolescent Addiction Unit
In addition to our Adult Addictions service, the Clinic provides a
specialist Adolescent Addiction Unit. The five bed unit offers assessment
and treatment to adolescents with drug and alcohol problems, as
well as computer and gaming addictions. After initial assessment and
depending on the type of addiction, various packages of care can be
tailored to the individual’s needs.

Programme Overview
Treatment plans are tailored to the specific needs of the individual by a highly experienced multi-disciplinary team of Consultant Psychiatrists, Therapists and clinical staff.
The addiction treatment programme is delivered using a 12 step abstinence-based therapeutic model. The detoxification programme includes full physical examination, psychiatric examination, blood tests, pharmacological withdrawal regime prescribed, physical needs identified, treated and monitored daily. Addiction Treatment Programmes Components include the following:

Facilities and accommodation
The environment we create for patients is as important as the treatment itself. Each patient will have the privacy of his/her own bedroom, with television telephone and en-suite facilities. Communal areas are pleasant and homely and patients are welcome to use the hospital grounds and garden.
Patients are encouraged to have their meals in the main dining room, which offers an excellent choice of dishes. Special dietary requirements can also be catered for.
