He lectured at the post-graduate level in Addiction Studies and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. David was responsible for the design of the national counsellor accreditation system for the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counsellors (FDAP). He has helped establish and develop a large number of private rehabilitation centres both in the UK and abroad.
